The Port Commission has authorized the formation of an advisory committee for the Port Angeles Boat Haven. The advisory committee will provide a forum for open communication between PABH tenants and stakeholders, and the Port Commission and management.
The Committee charge (scope of matters to consider) will include marina safety, marina economics (moorage rates, revenue, expenses and capital expenditures), marketing and marina promotion and coordination of special events.
The Committee will include representatives from a variety of organizations and interests as well as the Port Commission, Port staff, City staff and PA Marine.
The length of service and frequency of meetings for committee members has not been finalized, but meeting once a month for 2-3 hours during normal business hours for a period of up to one year may be the type of commitment one could expect.
