Clallam County Broadband Team
Seeks Public Comment on the Draft Broadband
Feasibility Study Report and Exhibits
Clallam County, WA – March 31, 2021 – The Clallam County Broadband Team (Team) inassociation with its consultant, CBG Communications, Inc. (CBG), has developed
a landmark Feasibility Study and Plan concerning various scenarios forenhancing and expanding the provision of Broadband services and infrastructure
throughout Clallam County.
The Team is seeking comments from the public, including residents, businesses, community organizations, public institutions and various other stakeholders regarding the draft Report and Exhibits from now through April19th, 2021. The Broadband Feasibility Study is the culmination
of a yearlong effort and already incorporates the input of hundreds ofresidents, all the local governments within Clallam County, the Port of Port
Angeles, the Clallam County Public Utility District, School Districts,Peninsula College, the North Olympic Library System, businesses and business
organizations, and many other constituencies within Clallam County. At thistime, before finalizing the Report, and consistent with the final steps
discussed in Community Broadband meetings and in the project plan and roadmap,the Team is providing an opportunity to comment on the draft findings,
conclusions, and recommendations of the Study.
