At the end of May, the Port promoted Dan Gase to the position of Real Estate and Business Manager from his part time, temporary role of Aviation and Aerospace Business Development Specialist that he began in March of 2017.
As the Real Estate and Business Manager, Mr. Gase will manage complex commercial contracts, oversee the Real Estate Business Administrator position, manage a portfolio of 90 leases and recommend solutions regarding tenant and contractual issues. He will also develop and analyze Port business opportunities.
Dan brings over two decades of commercial real estate experience to the Port along with holding the esteemed designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Mr. Gase has gained over 30 years of residential real estate and marketing experience as the former owner and President/CEO of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty. His career also includes time in the banking industry and a former Vice President at First Federal Savings & Loan.

His deep knowledge of the community is very beneficial as is his strong commitment to continuous improvement in serving the Port’s tenants and reaching out to future businesses.”
Dan is an aviation enthusiast and a commercial rated pilot. His love of aviation began in the United States Air Force as an F-111 fighter aircraft crew chief and furthered as one of the founding partners of the High Flyer Hangar Development Company at the William R. Fairchild International Airport.
Dan and his wife Cynthia are long-time residents of Port Angeles and have one grown daughter and three active grandsons. When not working, Mr. Gase serves the community as a City of Port Angeles council member. His term on the council will end in December 2017.
