The Port of Port Angeles Board of Commissioners will interview four applicants for the position of Executive Director. The candidates will be in Port Angeles for two days, June 16th and 17th, for these interviews.
The Executive Director finalists are:
Karen Goschen of Sequim, WA; Interim Executive Director, Port of Port Angeles;
James Kuntz of Walla Walla, WA; former Executive Director of Port of Walla Walla;
Robert Uptagrafft of Everett, WA; CEO & Executive Director of Pacific Northwest Aerospace Association; and
David Walter of Port Angeles, WA, Partner in Kingsway Consulting and former DuPont Corporation executive.
The Port Commission has scheduled public interviews from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on June 16th at the Port’s public meeting room located at 338 West First Street in Port Angeles. The public is welcome to attend as well as submit questions for the candidates. These questions will be used as time allows and may be submitted at CandidateQuestion@portofpa.com.
A reception for the public to meet the candidates will follow the interviews from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Red Lion Hotel in the Olympic Board Room located at 221 North Lincoln Street in Port Angeles. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
The Commission will meet again in executive session for additional candidate interviews on June 17th.
