The Port Commission established the Timber Advisory Committee (TAC) by resolution in May 2016.The committee will advise the Port on timber issues, rules and regulations affecting timber harvests, environmental issues and opportunities for advanced wood products supply and manufacturing.
The committee will consist of nine (9) members representing a broad cross-section of stakeholders with interests in the timber industry. Members will be appointed by the Commission for a term of three (3) years.
