Advisory Committees

Marina Advisory Committee (MAC)

The MAC advises the Port on the roles of marinas as a community asset, on environmental issues, and on other issues as the Commission directs. Specific areas of recommendation include the role of marinas as community assets (waterfront events, safety), capital improvements, marketing, strategic planning, environmental concerns, clean harbor practices and education.

The MAC consists of eleven members appointed by the Commission for terms of three years. MAC meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 10:00 am at the Port of Port Angeles main office. Check out meeting dates and agendas here.

Timber Advisory Committee (TAC)

The TAC provides community input about issues affecting the timber industry and its financial impact on the Port and on Clallam County. The TAC advises the Port on timber supply, advanced wood products, permitting and zoning, industry practices, habitat conservation, carbon sequestration and education.

The TAC consists of nine members appointed by the Commission for terms of three years. TAC meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm at the Port of Port Angeles at the Port of Port Angeles main office. Check out meeting dates and agendas here.
