Port of Port Angeles makes decisions every day that affect the community in terms of economic development and land use. If you would like to learn more about Port activities, Port Commissioner regular meetings are open to the public. These meetings offer time to meet Port staff and see what is happening, and to share your thoughts and ideas. View the dates, times and locations for Regular Commission Meetings here.
For those unable to attend meetings, the Port works to notify the public of all important decisions through Public Notices.
Current Public Notices:
PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE APPLICATION
As required in FAR Part 158.23 (a), this posting is notification that the Port of Port Angeles is in the process of preparing the seventh application to impose and use Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs) at the William R. Fairchild International Airport. The projects being considered for funding by PFCs are:
1. New Terminal Entrance Road
2. Safety Area Property Purchase
3. Safety Area Development
4. Taxilane Development Phase II
5. Terminal Apron Reconstruction
6. Runway Lighting Rehabilitation
7. Obstruction Identification and Removal
8. Taxilane Development Phase III
The Port proposes to collect PFCs at the $3.00 level with a proposed charge effective date of May 1, 2008, an estimated charge expiration date of May 1, 2012 and estimated total PFC revenue of $191,838.
