Port of Port Angeles Terminal 3 (“T” Pier)

This Port of Port Angeles Terminal is the primary cargo loading terminal, loading forest products destined to Pacific Rim countries, and ocean log barges shipping to domestic markets.  The terminal is supported by a 5 acre back-up logyard.  Ship loading and equipment operation are supported by a Longshore work force in ILWU Local 27.  T-3 is capable of handling loading from both water and wharf and is the Ports heavy lift pier and can accommodate cranes up to 200 tons.

  • Services: USDA certified potable water, power (600 amps, 480v, 3 phase), phones, garbage, lights, fuel, lubes, bunkering, stores, cranes, environmental services
  • Storage: Port Fill Dump (log dumping / rafting); Surge area, limited covered warehouse storage
  • Handling equipment: 4 log stackers, 3 forklifts (Capacity: to 16,000 lb.)
