The Port of Port Angeles has made its mark as a leader in the handling of forest products. In addition, the busy harbor provides marine terminal services for vessels entering or exiting the Strait of Juan de Fuca with a variety of other cargoes.
The Port has historically handled logs for export to countries including Japan, China, Korea, India and Taiwan in addition to millions of board feet of logs to be transported to mills in the Puget Sound, as well as other markets in southern Washington, Oregon and California.
