John Wayne Marina sits admist wonderful picnic areas. A park to the north of the marina provides five picnic areas and the park to the south provides five picnic areas, as well as a hand-launch area to slip kayaks in the water and beach access.

Relax while enjoying a picnic lunch or stroll along the tidelands, which are sometimes open for clamming and other shellfish. No matter what’s your pleasure, the bay is calm, the air is dry and many scenic opportunities await visitors.

Only a few miles west of Sequim Bay State Park.  Located just inside Puget Sound on the Olympic Peninsula, Sequim Bay State Park is a year-round, 92-acre marine camping park with 4,909 feet of saltwater coast in the Sequim “rain shadow.”
