Organizational Chart
Almost all powers of a port district are vested in a Board of Commissioners (or “Commission”). Port of Port Angeles has three Port Commissioners, who are elected from three districts of Clallam County – east, central and west. The Port Commission is responsible for making policies and decisions regarding matters within the county that affect the development, growth and operation of the Port’s facilities and functions, including the hiring of professional staff who administer those established policies. The Executive Director is authorized (by State law) the delegation of administrative actions, and may then hire and manage additional staff to carry out day-to-day Port operations.
